About supplements
Estimates of the size of the supplement market vary widely among different sources. So much so, that is almost appears that there probably is not one “right” answer. This is due in large part to the sheer number of products coming in and out of the market all the time, the number of people using them, and the number of reasons they are taken. Needless to say, the market is very big. A somewhat conservative estimate would put it at around $100 billion, with a CAGR (compounded annual growth rate) of about 7%. The dietary supplement market, which includes both vitamins and supplements, also includes sexual health-related products, which make up a sizeable, and growing, part of sales. In fact, the growth rate for supplements related to sexual health is projected at 10.5% CAGR in the next few years.
Things contributing to this growth rate include the increased ease of access to sexual health products through e-commerce, an increasing aging population, a greater awareness of sexual health issues and, most importantly, an acceptance and willingness to seek solutions.
